If the law says homosexual relations can perpetuate the human species then homosexual relations can perpetuate the human species. Since when does the law have to be rational? That two adult human beings love each other is no business of the State or society. Therefore the State has no business bestowing special legal status, rights, benefits, and privileges to ANY two adult human beings who love each other. And yes I know, you’ll give any and every reason in the book why the State should legally sanction the intimate relations of two adult human beings EXCEPT the Perpetuation of the Human Species.

I don’t see where homosexual relations can be seen to perpetuate the species, but homosexual relationships certainly can aid in the perpetuation of the species and are as constitutionally valid as any other relationship.

I think the equal protection of the Constitution applies, well…um…equally (!)…meaning that homo and hetero relationships are equal under the law and legal protections given to one must be also extended to the other.

I agree about Mitt Romney. What a shallow, stupid, elitist, facist dick.

I’m sure though that if his kids enter the military, they will get as cushy and non-threatening a job as they desire.

Mitt supposedly is still a contender for McCain’s VP where he could join the proud legacy of idiot Republican VP’s.

Obama though could have a chance maybe if he would pick Bill Cosby (or maybe Robin Williams) as his running mate.

I’d consider even voting for him if he picked Sarah Silverman for his running mate!

At least Ralph Nader is still running for President.
Is he too intelligent, responsible and reasonable a choice for America?

Or are we all too afraid of someone who is “Independent” of the Reds and Blues?

Hmmmm…Independence…doesn’t that sound somehow reminiscent of something…um…American?

If you’re not registered to vote, get registered.

Tell your neighbors that we have to kick the crooks out!

You can’t do much about the President - that race is fixed completely, but you can do EVERYTHING about who wins all the other (popular vote) races.

There are four options: 1. Abolish the Institution of Marriage for violating the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. 2. Heterosexual relations are legally the Perpetuation of the Human Species. 3. Homosexual relations are legally the Perpetuation of the human Species. 4. Heterosexual relations and homosexual relations are both legally the Perpetuation of the Human Species. Choose well!

Wonder how the Mittser’s gonna respond to this one? Gawd, now that I think about it - I could give a rat’s ass. The man is a certified fuck-wit.

Now that he’s not running for Prez, does that mean his draft-age eligible kids can get their military experience and go find road-side bombs somewhere? Better yet, maybe Mitt can go with them.

Well, I have done some more reading and some more thinking and I just don’t get it.

I tried, I really did.

I like my mormon friends. I am not becoming mormon. I understand them better now. I am not going to save food. The stories of independence mo are all varied.

Many of these posts have been helpful.
